This is the official website for road running events presented by the Athletics Free State Road Running Commission, under the auspices of Athletics Free State (AFS).
The objective the AFS Road Running Series and events is to offer clubs and athletes of all levels, that are affiliated with AFS, an opportunity to participate in road running events where they can represent themselves, their provincial regions, and their respective clubs in an informal, safer and more cost-effective way.
Subject to prescribed health and safety regulations and protocols the events presented here will adopt a predominantly virtual race format where athletes may participate on their own or within small groups as clubs.

Stay safe and protect South Africa by following the prescribed health and safety regulations in accordance with the State of Disaster Management Act, as well as the regulations and protocols prescribed by World Athletics and Athletics South Africa to address, prevent and combat the spread of Coronavirus as a result of participating in and competing at athletics activities and meetings.
